Straight Images 3 - Dog Walking

Straight Images - Dog Walking

I really like the outcome of this image. It is of my dog, Cody, he is sitting at the edge of the kerb waiting to go for a run in the field. The image really plays on his youthfulness, his bright eyes and tongue sticking out show him as happy and excited for what is about to come.

On the dog walk, there was me, my sister and my friend as we all enjoy taking our dogs out on sunny days. This image shows the heat of the day as my sister and dog are taking a break. The perspective of this photo is very interesting as it has a distinct foreground and background. It's a very natural image caught at the right moment.

I really love the naturalness of this image, showing a very happy moment. The image shows the nature of documentary photography, especially my aim of photography which was to show the positive, happy side of everyday life. This is perfectly captured and shown from the smile on my friends face.

I really like the outcome of this photograph as the puppy, Joey, is running towards the camera. It shows the personality of a puppy and the curiosity that he feels towards the camera. I like how I have managed to capture the movement of Joey as he runs but kept it in focus which I achieved using a fast shutter speed.

This photo shows my sister and friend walking together to retrieve the ball for the dogs. I like this photograph because of the set-up of the girls. There is a clear foreground and background which has been captured a the right angle and right moment to ensure both of their faces are on show and in good placement.
