This connecting essay I am linking a piece of Jamie Davis Smith's work with my own. Upon appearance the images above aren't all that similar but the actual message of the photo inspired me for my 'family night' shoot. The firs image shows a father playing with his daughter and both of them enjoying themselves messing around showing the happy bond between family. This is an important part of my everyday life therefore I wanted to recreate that atmosphere and so the second image was produced of some of my family round the table smiling, joking around with each other. Jamie Davis Smith's work definitely helped me direct the message of my work.
