The first image on this post is by Vivian Maier and the second is by me. I took inspiration from this photograph when researching Vivian's work, I was intrigued by this image because of the look on the dog's face and the resemblance it has to my own dog. I think the photo is extremely striking, especially in black and white and really concentrates on the importance of people's pets and how close they keep them.Therefore in my own image, I wanted to achieve that same striking effect by taking a really close up image and converting it to black and white in the hopes that people see the importance of a dog in everyday life.
